DreamGF review: read the renewal price before the intro price
DreamGF (dreamgf.ai) is one of the most-visited girlfriend-builder apps in the vertical, with a press strip (Forbes, Sifted) most competitors would kill for and a checkout page built entirely around discounts. It was also our tracker's first catch: on day one of snapshotting, the pricing page showed the monthly plan renewing at double its advertised price. For this review we opened every public surface logged-out, pulled both of their pricing surfaces, and read all nineteen — yes, nineteen — policy documents. Where something needs a paid account to measure, we say so — scores wait for our standardized bench, not vibes.
The product is a capable girlfriend-builder (create-a-girl, photo requests, voice, fetish generator, AI influencers), and the operator — DreamAI SRL, Romania, which also runs eHentai.ai, DreamBF.ai, and JustPorn.ai — is unusually easy to identify. The billing is the story: every advertised price is a first payment (monthly $12.99 renews at $25.99), refunds are voided by using the product, and the membership policy reserves a discretionary $1.99/month "maintenance charge" on accounts of people who have stopped subscribing — avoidable, per the policy, by deleting your account and data. Nothing here is hidden; it's all published. You just have to read it, so we did.

What DreamGF actually is
First question, as always: who runs it? DreamAI SRL, Bucharest, Romania — Trade Registry J40/12952/2023, incorporated 2023, address printed in the footer of every page. The footer also discloses the rest of the operation: an "AI Network" of sister brands — eHentai.ai (anime), DreamBF.ai (boyfriends), JustPorn.ai — one operator, four adult AI storefronts. The paperwork is genuinely extensive: nineteen policy documents including a deletion strategy, a chargeback/fraud-mitigation policy, an anti-slavery statement, a complaints subdomain, a public product roadmap, and a dated notice that UK users have required age verification since July 25, 2025 (Online Safety Act compliance — outside the UK, per the notice, nothing changes).
The product model is builder-first: the homepage CTA is "Create AI Girl," and the feature set runs chat and sexting, photo requests, voice messages and calls, a fetish generator, and "AI influencer" chats priced per-message. Unlike Candy AI or GirlfriendGPT, there's no community-characters economy — the pitch is building your own.
Pricing: every number you see is a first payment
DreamGF publishes prices on two surfaces: the checkout at /plans and a "Pricing Policy" page at /pricing. Read together, on 2026-07-07:
| Plan | First payment | Renews at |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 — registration required | Published limits: none stated |
| Monthly | $12.99 ("50% off") | $25.99/month — exactly double |
| 3 months | $29.97 ("60% off") | $77.97/quarter |
| Annual | $69.99 ("75% off") | $311.88/year — 4.5× the first year |
To their credit, the renewal numbers are printed — the checkout shows the struck-through $25.99, and the pricing policy spells out "Recurring Cost: $25.99/month if not canceled." This isn't CamSoda burying the $19.95 renewal in its terms; it's a discount-anchoring machine operating in the open. But the machine is sloppy in ways a money page shouldn't be, and we archived all of it: the pricing policy has its Monthly and 3-Month plan labels swapped (standing since at least our 07-06 snapshot); the checkout advertises 150 tokens/month while the pricing policy says 100; and the checkout's "limited time offer" countdown timer sat at 0 : 0 : 0 while the offer banner carried on regardless.
On top of membership: tokens. Creating a companion burns 20, an image 10, a voice message 3, voice calls 7 per minute, and "influencer messages" vary by influencer. Packs run $2.99–$179.99 and are only purchasable by premium members — there is no pay-as-you-go without a subscription. Our pricing table tracks these numbers per app, dated.
- The $1.99/month maintenance charge. Membership policy §7: DreamGF "reserves the right to apply a Maintenance Charge of $1.99 per month to keep user accounts active and operational," applying to "users who have previously purchased the service," and it "may apply this maintenance fee at any time." The policy's stated opt-out is deleting your account, "which will permanently remove your data." An ex-subscriber's dormant account, card on file, is a small recurring revenue line — unless they destroy their own history. This is the most user-hostile clause we've receipt-checked in the vertical so far, worse than Kupid's $3.99 data fee because it's discretionary and retroactive to anyone who ever paid.
- Using the product voids refunds. The refund policy is no-refunds-unless-law-requires; the membership policy voids eligibility if you used "AI girlfriends, generated photos, sent messages, [or] consumed credits" — i.e., anything. On 3- and 12-month plans, any use during the initial period voids refunds on the whole term.
- Discounts are first-period bait by design. "Vouchers... are only applied to the first subscription period, and the recurring fee will be as per the original price" — the fee-trap mechanic, stated as policy.
- Pricing and billing policies "may update at any time"; continued use is acceptance. Plan changes are communicated "in advance of your next billing cycle."
- Cancellation itself is clean: self-serve, any time, active until the end of the billing cycle. No cancellation fee is published.
Is it safe to use?
On logged-out evidence: the operator is fully identifiable (a rarity this far down the vertical), the policy set is complete to the point of parody, there's a real complaints channel, and the UK age-verification notice suggests a shop that responds to regulation rather than ignoring it. The discreet-billing claim ("no adult transactions on bank statements") is prominent but unverifiable from outside — as is everything about how chat data is actually handled. Romanian jurisdiction; a 2023-incorporated company; your chats and generations live on their servers. The separate chargeback/fraud-mitigation policy tells you disputes are a normal part of this operator's life — behave accordingly: set a renewal reminder the day you subscribe, and if you leave, decide consciously between the maintenance-fee risk and deleting your data.
What we haven't tested yet
Everything behind registration: what the free trial actually includes (no published limits — notable in itself), chat quality and memory, image generation quality and speed, voice quality, real token burn rates, the influencer-message pricing, and whether the maintenance charge is currently being applied in practice or merely reserved. That's the standardized paid bench — S1 through S7 in our published methodology — and it's why this review carries no score yet. When the bench runs, the score and dated receipts land here and on the tracker profile.
Verdict: who should try it
If you want a builder-first girlfriend app and you go in with the renewal prices — $25.99/month, not $12.99 — DreamGF is a functional product from an identifiable operator, and the annual plan's first year is genuinely cheap. But price it honestly against the field: at renewal it's the most expensive monthly plan we've receipt-checked, its refund policy is the strictest, and it's the only app we've found that reserves a fee for leaving your account dormant. If clean billing is what you're optimizing for, Candy AI renews at its sticker price; if you want the full comparison, the head-to-head and the DreamGF alternatives page run every tracked app on the same data.

FAQ
How much does DreamGF really cost?
The advertised prices are first payments only. From their own checkout and pricing policy on 2026-07-07: monthly is $12.99 for the first month, then renews at $25.99/month; the 3-month plan is $29.97, then $77.97 per quarter; annual is $69.99, then $311.88 per year. Token packs ($2.99–$179.99) come on top for image generation, voice, and creating companions — and only premium members can buy them.
Does DreamGF renew at a higher price?
Yes — that is the model, in their own documents: 'Enjoy up to 75% off on your first subscription!' means every plan's sticker price is an intro discount. The monthly plan doubles at renewal ($12.99 → $25.99). Their membership policy also states vouchers apply to the first subscription period only, with recurring fees at the original plan price.
What is the DreamGF $1.99 maintenance fee?
A clause in their membership policy: DreamGF 'reserves the right to apply a Maintenance Charge of $1.99 per month to keep user accounts active and operational,' applying to users who have previously purchased, and it 'may apply this maintenance fee at any time.' The stated way to avoid it is deleting your account, which permanently removes your data. In plain terms: after you stop subscribing, your dormant account — with your card on file — can be charged $1.99/month at their discretion unless you delete everything.
Can I get a refund from DreamGF?
Effectively no. The refund policy says they 'do not offer refunds for subscription fees or transactions unless required by applicable consumer protection laws.' The membership policy goes further: using any feature — AI girlfriends, generated photos, sent messages, consumed credits — voids refund eligibility, and on 3- or 12-month plans any use during the initial period does the same. Their position is that the free trial is your evaluation window.
Is DreamGF free?
There is a free trial (registration required), and their policies lean on it as the reason refunds are not offered. The published pages do not state what the trial includes — message or generation limits are not documented, which is itself worth knowing. Our paid bench pass will measure the actual limits.
Who owns DreamGF, and is it legit?
DreamAI SRL, a Romanian company in Bucharest (Trade Registry J40/12952/2023, incorporated 2023), named in the footer and terms. The same operator runs eHentai.ai, DreamBF.ai, and JustPorn.ai — the "AI Network" in the site footer. The paperwork is extensive: 19 policy documents, a complaints subdomain, and a dated UK age-verification notice. The operator is transparent; what the policies actually say is the issue.
What shows up on my bank statement?
Their pricing page claims "100% Privacy (No adult transactions on bank statements)" — a discreet-descriptor promise. The exact descriptor text is not published; that is a bench-pass item. Note the chargeback/fraud-mitigation policy exists as a separate document — dispute-heavy billing is something this operator plans for.
Provenance
Everything above was verified on 2026-07-07 from two vantages: US-served HTML (homepage, both pricing surfaces, and the full 19-document policy set — archived) and a logged-out browser session (homepage, checkout, pricing policy). Screenshots are unedited captures from that session. The renewal-pricing structure was first caught by our automated tracker on 2026-07-06 — its dated snapshots are the receipt.
