DarLink review: a price per day, and a yearly charge the page never shows

DarLink (darlink.ai) is a Swiss-registered girlfriend builder with a community feed of user-made characters, most of them labelled NSFW, an image and video generator the site itself titles "AI Porn Generator", voices, and three memory tiers. It sits behind a Cloudflare wall that blocks plain fetches, so for this review we drove a real browser from a US address through the plan page on every billing tab, the token shop, the generator, the terms, the refund and privacy policies and the data the plan page loads behind the scenes. The pricing pass ran on 2026-10-03; every plan price, the token shop and the homepage were read again on 2026-10-10. Where something needs a paid account to measure, we say so. Scores wait for our standardized bench, not vibes.

The short version

The operator is easy to identify (FameLink SA, Montsevelier, Jura) and the monthly prices are plainly printed, in small type, under a big price per day. The yearly plan is where it gets slippery: the card says "$9.99 / month · billed yearly" and never shows the $119.88 that is actually charged, a number we found only in the plan data the page loads. The urgency is manufactured: the "OFFER ENDS IN" clock above the plans started at 10 hours 46 minutes on every load we made on October 3, and read the same on October 10. The token packs' "Save" labels are measured against crossed-out prices, not against the smallest pack. And the refund policy says that if you dispute a charge with your bank, DarLink may hand over your private messages as evidence. Trustpilot: 2.6 from 11 reviews.

What DarLink actually is

First question, as always: who runs it? The terms say "DarLink is provided by FameLink SA", registered in Switzerland as CHE-443.347.069 at Les Mengartes 37, 2828 Montsevelier, Jura, and the site's structured data gives the company a founding date of 19 February 2024. It is a web app: the same structured data lists the operating system as Web, and US searches of the App Store and Google Play on 2026-10-03 found no app from FameLink SA (the one app named DarLink in both stores belongs to "DARDOC HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED", a health company). The terms nevertheless describe subscriptions bought "through a mobile app marketplace (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)", a clause that appears to describe an app that does not exist. The policy set is short: terms, a refund policy, a privacy policy, a 2257A statement and a DMCA page, with the terms and refund policy both "Last Updated: August 2025".

The product is builder-first with a community layer. "Create your ideal AI character with our builder" is the homepage pitch; under it sits "Explore Your Seductive Feed", a grid of user-made characters, many hidden behind a "This character is rated NSFW" blur. Characters send voice messages (6 standard voices on Essential, 10 premium on the higher plans), remember you in three grades the plan FAQ calls basic, enhanced and living memory, and can be put into group chats, which "is part of the Advanced and Ultimate plans". The footer lists "AI NSFW Chat" and "AI Porn" under Features. The same company's terms of service, meanwhile, ban content that "Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or highly obscene" and say only that the service "may allow some adult-oriented conversation between consenting adults". The plan page FAQ settles it in practice ("Is NSFW allowed? Yes, on all plans"), but the contract you accept says otherwise.

Pricing: read the small type, then the data behind it

The plan page has three tabs, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly, and three plans. The big number on every card is a price per day. On 2026-10-10, from a US address:

Plan Monthly Quarterly tab shows Yearly tab shows Yearly charge
Essential $12.99 ("$0.43 /day") $10.99 a month, no total $9.99 a month, no total $119.88
Advanced $27.99 ("$0.93 /day") $21.99 a month, no total $18.99 a month, no total $227.88
Ultimate $49.99 ("$1.67 /day") $39.99 a month, no total $32.99 a month, no total $395.88

The yearly charges in the last column are not on the card. They are in the plan data the page fetches from DarLink's own API ("Annual payment billed as $ 119.88") and in the page script, which also stores an "original" yearly price for each plan that is exactly twelve times the monthly price ($155.88, $335.88, $599.88). The Quarterly tab prints only a per-month figure; three months at $10.99, $21.99 and $39.99 come to $32.97, $65.97 and $119.97 by our arithmetic, and no public page prints those totals either, because checkout is behind sign-in. What a plan renews at is published nowhere: the API's banner text for Essential says "Exclusive Discount Only Today !" and promises up to 70% off "your first subscription", the API gives Essential a list price of 23.99 a month, the checkout script gives it an "original" of 25.99, and the plan page shows no crossed-out monthly price at all. Three different full prices, none of them on a page a buyer sees, and no statement of which one applies after the first term.

DarLink plan page on the Monthly tab under an OFFER ENDS IN countdown reading 10 hours 45 minutes 49 seconds: Essential $0.43 a day ($12.99 / month), Advanced $0.93 a day ($27.99 / month) marked -32% most popular, Ultimate $1.67 a day ($49.99 / month), with Quarterly SAVE 15% and Yearly SAVE 44% tabs
darlink.ai/plan-selection, captured 2026-10-10. The clock read 10:45:49 on this load; on October 3 it read 10:45 and some seconds on four loads in eight minutes. The script starts it from a fixed 38,763 seconds every time.

The urgency around those numbers is decorative. The page script seeds the "OFFER ENDS IN" countdown with 38,763 seconds (10 hours 46 minutes 3 seconds) on every load; on October 3 four separate loads between 21:09 and 21:17 UTC all read "10 HRS 45 MIN", and on 2026-10-10 a fresh load read "10 HRS 45 MIN 49 SEC". The Yearly tab's "SAVE 44%" badge is a fixed string too: against the monthly prices, a year saves 23% on Essential, 32% on Advanced and 34% on Ultimate, and the script's own savings line for Ultimate, "$204" off, is 34% of its own $599.88 anchor. The homepage adds a "50% OFF ULTIMATE" card with a 60-minute clock that restarted on every fresh load (it read 59:45 on both of our visits a week apart) and whose data carries an end date of 2026-09-21, nineteen days before this review. Clicking it logged out opens the sign-in box, so the promo price was not seen.

Tokens: the second price, with its own costume

Images and videos cost tokens (the plan cards call them coins): "Image generation (2 tokens)", 3 for the Realistic V2 style, and "Video generation (20 tokens)" for a 5- or 10-second clip. Essential includes "100 free coins each month", Advanced 300 and Ultimate 500, so the entry plan's allowance is 50 images or 5 videos. Messages are metered separately: "6000 messages / month" on Essential, "9000 messages / month" on Advanced, "Unlimited Messages" on Ultimate. Whether tokens expire is left open: the terms say credits "may or may not expire, as communicated at purchase". The homepage FAQ says every chat message "consumes a certain number of tokens" too, which the plan cards do not; no per-message rate is published anywhere.

DarLink Buy More Tokens page: 100 tokens $9.99; 350 tokens $34.99 struck from $43.74, Save 20%; 550 tokens $49.99 struck from $71.41, Save 30%; 1,150 tokens $99.99 struck from $142.84, Save 30%; 3,750 tokens $299.99 struck from $599.98, Save 50%; 7,500 tokens $599.99 struck from $1199.98, Save 50%; Pay with Card or Pay with Crypto on each
darlink.ai/tokens, captured 2026-10-10. Every "Save" label is measured against a crossed-out price, not against the 100-token pack.

The shop sells 100 tokens for $9.99 and labels every bigger pack with a saving against a crossed-out price: "350 Tokens Save 20% $34.99 $43.74", 550 for $49.99 ("Save 30%"), 1,150 for $99.99 ("Save 30%"), 3,750 for $299.99 and 7,500 for $599.99 ("Save 50%"). Per token, that is 9.99 cents, 10.0 cents, 9.1 cents, 8.7 cents, 8.0 cents and 8.0 cents. So the 350 pack saves nothing against the smallest pack, and the two largest save 20%, where the label says 50%. At the 100-pack rate an image costs about 20 cents and a video about $2. The checkout's own add-on data offers "100 tokens" at $8.99, presented as 25% off $11.99; the shop sells the same 100 tokens for $9.99, so the real saving is $1.00. Our tracker profile keeps the full token table with each line's source.

Fine print, verified in their policies

Is it safe to use?

The company is real and named on every page, which is more than many rivals manage. The privacy policy is less reassuring than the plan page FAQ. The FAQ says "We never share your personal information with third parties, and your chats stay private between you and your AI Companion." The policy says the company "might train our AI on anonymized conversation data to improve response quality" with no opt-out, shares data with providers for "payment processing, and image or voice recognition", and lets "Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel" set cookies "for analytics and advertising purposes" on an adult companion site. The only encryption claimed is "encryption of data in transit"; stored chats are not said to be encrypted, and the terms reserve the right "to monitor interactions and content on the Service". The minimum age is 18, checked by nothing at sign-up: the terms only say an account can be suspended "pending age verification" if the company suspects a minor. Trustpilot on 2026-10-10: "2.6" and "Poor" from 11 reviews, with 55% of them one star on our October 3 read, on a claimed profile that "Hasn’t replied to negative reviews". Behave accordingly: set a renewal reminder, pay for a month before a year, and keep in mind what the chargeback clause says about your messages.

What we haven't tested yet

Everything behind sign-in: whether the 5 free messages the site code describes reset, what the checkout actually shows for a quarterly or yearly plan and what it says about renewal, chat quality across the three memory tiers (a Trustpilot reviewer calls the Essential and Ultimate experiences night and day), image and video quality, how voices are charged, and whether the promo card's 50% price exists for a new account. That is the standardized paid bench, S1 through S7 in our published methodology, and it is why this review carries no score yet. When the bench runs, the score and dated receipts land here and on the tracker profile.

Verdict: who should try it

If you want a builder with a lively NSFW community feed from a company that prints its registration number, DarLink is usable at $12.99 a month, and the yearly Essential plan is a fair price once you know it is one charge of $119.88. Do not buy the clock, the "SAVE 44%" badge or the token-pack labels, and read the refund policy before you subscribe for a year, because getting out early refunds nothing. For a builder with a cleaner billing record, Candy AI renews at its sticker price; the pricing table runs every tracked app on the same verified numbers.

FAQ

How much does DarLink cost?

$12.99 a month for Essential, $27.99 for Advanced and $49.99 for Ultimate, read from the plan page on 2026-10-03 and again on 2026-10-10. Paid by the year the same plans are shown as $9.99, $18.99 and $32.99 a month, which is one charge of $119.88, $227.88 or $395.88; the plan page never prints those totals. A quarterly option shows $10.99, $21.99 and $39.99 a month and no total at all.

Is DarLink free?

In a small way, and only according to the site's own code. No public page lists what a free account gets; the upgrade pop-ups in the site script put it at 5 free messages, 3 free images a day, 1 free character and 5 free voice messages, and say NSFW content and video generation need a subscription. We did not sign up, so these are DarLink's words rather than a test.

What do DarLink tokens cost, and what do they buy?

An image costs 2 tokens (3 in the Realistic V2 style) and a video 20. Essential includes 100 a month, Advanced 300 and Ultimate 500. Packs run from 100 tokens for $9.99 to 7,500 for $599.99. The "Save" labels on the packs are measured against crossed-out prices: the 350 pack at $34.99 is labelled "Save 20%" but costs the same per token as the 100 pack, and the biggest packs save 20% per token, not 50%.

Does DarLink allow NSFW?

In practice, yes: the logged-out homepage is full of characters labelled NSFW, the footer lists "AI NSFW Chat" and "AI Porn" as features, the generator page is titled "AI Porn Generator" and the plan page FAQ says NSFW is allowed on all plans. The terms of service still list "pornographic, sexually explicit, or highly obscene" content among the things users must not share, so the written rules and the product disagree.

Can I get a refund from DarLink?

Rarely. The refund policy pays back only a fraudulent charge, a billing or technical error on DarLink's side, or a subscription DarLink ends without cause. It refuses refunds for accidental purchases, a change of mind, cancelling part-way through a period, and unused tokens. The terms of service separately say a refund "may" be considered if you ask within 24 hours of purchase after minimal use; the refund policy has no such window.

How do I cancel DarLink?

The terms say you can cancel in your account settings on the website or through support. The refund policy says cancellation takes effect once support receives your written notice at [email protected]. Either way access and the plan's tokens run to the end of the period you paid for, and the account then drops to the free tier. Deleting the account is a separate, permanent step.

Who owns DarLink, and is it legit?

FameLink SA, a Swiss company (registration CHE-443.347.069) at Les Mengartes 37, 2828 Montsevelier, in the canton of Jura; the site's own structured data gives a founding date of 19 February 2024. It is a web app: US App Store and Google Play searches found no app from FameLink SA, and the one app called DarLink in both stores is a health app from an unrelated company. Trustpilot showed 2.6 (Poor) from 11 reviews on 2026-10-10.

Provenance

Prices, token costs, the plan page's data and scripts, the refund policy and the terms were read on 2026-10-03 from a US address in a real browser (DarLink's Cloudflare wall blocks plain fetches); the profile facts, the privacy policy, the 2257A page and Trustpilot were read the same day. The plan page, the token shop, the homepage and Trustpilot were read again on 2026-10-10, and the screenshots above are unedited captures from that session.
