Secrets AI review: the discount is measured against a price nobody pays
Secrets AI (secrets.ai) is the most completely built girlfriend app we track: text, images, video with a dedicated adult mode, real-time voice calls, group chats, personas, lorebooks and a public changelog that has shipped 34 releases since September 10. For this review we opened every public surface logged out from a US address, read the terms, refund and privacy policies (all dated April 10, 2026), and went through the official wiki, which documents the product in more detail than most rivals' help centers. The pricing was first verified on 2026-09-22 and every price was re-read on 2026-10-10; nothing had moved. Where something needs a paid account to measure, we say so. Scores wait for our standardized bench, not vibes.
The product is deep and moving fast, the operator is identifiable (Secret Labs Inc., Canada and the US), the monthly price renews at the same price and there is a real, if thin, free tier. The costume is the problem: the store crosses out $39.99 next to Premium's $19.99 and $79.99 next to Ultimate's $39.99, and neither number is a price anyone has paid, so the yearly "77% OFF" is really about 54%. The credit economy is strict: plan Moments are wiped at every renewal, free users cannot buy any, and Ultimate gives you fewer Moments per dollar than Premium. And the homepage's "end-to-end encryption" is a claim the privacy policy does not make. Nothing here is hidden; it is all on their own pages, so we read them.
Try Secrets AI → Outbound link. We are an affiliate of Secrets AI through CrakRevenue (its own affiliate page advertises a 40% revenue share), which never affects the data on this page. Free tier: 20 messages a day; the prices below are what the store charges.
What Secrets AI actually is
First question, as always: who runs it? Secret Labs Inc., which the terms call "a corporation registered in both Canada and the United States". The footer address is 8 The Green, Dover, Delaware; the contract is governed by British Columbia law and any arbitration sits in Vancouver. Card charges show as S LABS INC, which the store page presents as a feature: "There is no mention of Secrets anywhere on your bill". It is web only. The wiki states "Secrets is not on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store", and a US App Store search returns a different company's "Secret AI: Local AI Chat" instead. The legal set is full: terms, privacy, refund, prohibited-content, safety, underage and screening policies, plus a wiki with pages on every feature and a changelog that reaches back to November 2025.
The product is the full stack. Companions chat with a memory system, generate images (an "Advanced" model with "much stronger NSFW generation" arrived in July), generate video in three modes including Adult ("720p, 8 seconds, no audio"), take real-time voice calls, join group chats, and remember you across sessions. There are community-made custom characters, "V2" companions fronting the homepage, a "Personas" system for playing yourself, lorebooks for world-building and a "Shorts" section of mini-dramas ("Bingeable mini-dramas. New episodes drop weekly.") whose episodes still showed "COMING SOON" logged out on 2026-10-10. Unlike Candy AI, which sells a girlfriend, Secrets sells a platform, and the changelog shows it: between September 22 and October 6 the wiki logged "Universe Lorebooks", a voice library of "148 voices, up from 12", a "New and improved voice chat model", configurable thinking levels, and "Persona photos" for Ultimate subscribers. We have not read a faster changelog in this vertical.
Pricing: the real numbers, and the fake ones beside them
The store page sells two plans, Premium and Ultimate, on a Monthly / Yearly toggle. The wiki adds the free tier and the limits. Read together, on 2026-10-10:
| Plan | Price | Shown against | Moments a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0: 20 messages a day, tied to the device | 0, and cannot buy any | |
| Premium, monthly | $19.99 | a crossed-out $39.99 | 8,000 |
| Premium, yearly | $109.99 ($9.17 a month), "77% OFF" | the same $39.99 a month | |
| Ultimate, monthly | $39.99 | a crossed-out $79.99 | 15,000 |
| Ultimate, yearly | $319.99 ($26.67 a month), "67% OFF" | the same $79.99 a month |
The monthly prices are genuine and renew unchanged: the terms promise "at least 30 days' notice" of any increase, applied from the next renewal, and we have watched the store since July without seeing them move. The crossed-out numbers are not. In the site's own pricing configuration they sit in a fixed table of reference prices (Premium 39.99, Ultimate 79.99) that never applies to a checkout, and every discount label is computed against them. Against the real monthly price, a year of Premium costs $109.99 instead of $239.88, a saving of 54%, not 77%; a year of Ultimate costs $319.99 instead of $479.88, a saving of 33%, not 67%. The "50% OFF" badge in the sidebar is the same arithmetic. There are also 3- and 6-month plans (Premium $49.99 and $89.99, Ultimate $99.99 and $179.99) in the wiki's migration table and the site code that the logged-out store never offers, and two discount codes in the code that set Premium monthly to $14.99; we did not test them at checkout.
One more pricing fact worth knowing if you subscribed early: the retired Lite ($5.99) and Plus ($9.99) monthly plans are being moved to Premium at $19.99 on renewal. The wiki is straightforward about it ("at least 14 days before the first charge at the new price") and about the alternative, which is to cancel. Our tracker profile keeps the dated price record.
Moments: the second price
Everything beyond text costs Moments, and the wiki publishes the rates: an image is 50 Moments (100 at 2K, plus 10 for each extra reference photo), an image edit 50, an adult video 600, a voice call 50 a minute, a custom character 500 after the first free one. Premium's 8,000 a month therefore buys about 160 images, or 13 adult videos, or 160 minutes of calls. Three rules shape the economy:
- Plan Moments do not roll over. "Unused grant moments don't carry into the next month." Moments you buy on top do not reset.
- Free users cannot buy any. "The FREE tier does not include a moment grant and cannot purchase moments." The only free route is a one-time 100-Moment bonus for linking a Discord account. The wiki's tier table ticks audio calls for Free, but calls cost 50 Moments a minute, so a free account cannot make one.
- Ultimate is the worse Moments deal. 15,000 for $39.99 is 375 a dollar; 8,000 for $19.99 is 400. Pay for Ultimate for what it unlocks (S4 chat mode, Max thinking, group chats, personas and persona photos, proactive messaging, 2,000- character messages), not for the credits.
Top-up packs run from 3,000 Moments for $9.99 to 120,000 for $249.99, subscribers only, with a 10% bonus on Premium and 15% on Ultimate. Those prices come from the site's code; the Moments tab of the store needs a login, and the wiki's own worked example (4,000 for $11.99) matches none of them.
- Refunds are narrow. "No partial refunds are issued for unused days within an active billing period", "All Moments purchases are final", and anything paid in crypto is "non-refundable under any circumstances". EU and UK buyers keep a 14-day withdrawal right on a first purchase, pro-rated if premium features were used. Billing errors must be raised within 30 days.
- Two official answers on cancelling. The wiki: cancel at Settings, Manage Subscription, and "your account will automatically move to the Free tier" with chats kept. The terms: "your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period". One of them is wrong.
- Multi-month plans renew for the full term. "Multi-month subscriptions are billed upfront for the full term at the applicable rate and automatically renew for the same term unless cancelled". Prepaid G2A keys, sold as a last resort, are the exception: fixed term, no renewal.
- Moderation is uniform and unforgiving. "Filtering is applied uniformly across all subscription tiers and all platform features", and "Attempting to generate prohibited content — even if unsuccessful — is itself a violation of this policy." Paying more does not loosen anything.
Is it safe to use?
On the operator side, yes: a named company, a complete policy set, a support wiki and a Trustpilot profile at 4.5 from 263 reviews on 2026-10-10. Read that score knowing the profile is claimed, carries a "Paid Trustpilot subscription" label and has "Replied to 100% of negative reviews". The privacy picture needs one correction. The homepage promises "Judgement-free conversations protected with end-to-end encryption". The privacy policy claims "AES-256 encryption applied to all stored personal data and content" and TLS in transit, which is ordinary server-side encryption that the operator can decrypt, and it has to: the same policy lists "train and improve our AI models" among the uses of your data, and the safety guidelines say the system "Logs flagged inputs for human review and model improvement". An AI monitor also watches chats "for signals that may indicate an underage user". The good parts are specific: you cannot upload images at all, call audio is transcribed and "immediately and permanently deleted", and chat history is "Deleted immediately upon account deletion". We filed the encryption claim, with five others, in our end-to-end encryption story.
What we haven't tested yet
Everything behind the account: chat quality across the S3, S4, S5 and X-3 modes and their thinking levels, how far 20 free messages a day actually get you, image and adult-video quality and speed, what the voice calls sound like after the September model change, how strict the filters feel in practice, and whether the top-up pack prices in the code are the ones the store shows a subscriber. That is the standardized paid bench, S1 through S7 in our published methodology, and it is why this review carries no score yet. When the bench runs, the score and dated receipts land here and on the tracker profile.
Verdict: who should try it
If you want the most feature-complete girlfriend platform we track, with an operator that ships weekly and prices that do not change at renewal, Secrets AI is a sound pick at $19.99 a month, and the yearly plan is a real saving once you ignore the label on it. Go in knowing the free tier is for chat only, that plan Moments vanish each month, and that the filters apply to everyone. If you want to compare it with the biggest brand, the Candy AI head-to-head runs both on the same data; if the Moments model puts you off, the pricing table shows which apps meter and which do not.

FAQ
How much does Secrets AI cost?
Premium is $19.99 a month or $109.99 a year, Ultimate $39.99 a month or $319.99 a year, checked on the store page on 2026-10-10. Those are the real prices: the crossed-out $39.99 and $79.99 beside them are fixed reference numbers in the site's code, not something anyone is charged. There are also 3- and 6-month plans (Premium $49.99 and $89.99, Ultimate $99.99 and $179.99) that the logged-out store never shows.
Is Secrets AI free?
For chat, yes: 20 messages a day, reset daily and tied to your device rather than your account, with messages capped at 500 characters. Free accounts get no Moments and cannot buy any, so images, video, voice calls and custom characters all need Premium or Ultimate.
What are Moments on Secrets AI?
The credits that pay for everything beyond chat. Premium includes 8,000 a month and Ultimate 15,000. An image costs 50 (100 at 2K), an image edit 50, an adult video 600, a voice call 50 a minute and a custom character 500 after the first free one. Unused plan Moments are wiped at renewal; Moments you buy on top do not expire. Top-up packs are for subscribers only, from 3,000 for $9.99 to 120,000 for $249.99.
Who owns Secrets AI, and is it legit?
Secret Labs Inc., which the terms describe as "a corporation registered in both Canada and the United States", with a Dover, Delaware mailing address and British Columbia law; arbitration sits in Vancouver. Charges appear as S LABS INC. It is web only: the official wiki says it is not on the App Store or Google Play, and the "Secret AI" app that shows up in store searches is a different company's product. Trustpilot showed 4.5 from 263 reviews on 2026-10-10 on a claimed profile with a paid subscription.
Are Secrets AI chats end-to-end encrypted?
The homepage says conversations are "protected with end-to-end encryption". The privacy policy claims something weaker: AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit, which is ordinary server-side encryption the operator can read. The same policy lists training their AI models as a use of your data, and the safety guidelines say prompts caught by the filters are logged for human review. We cover the gap in our end-to-end encryption story.
Can I get a refund from Secrets AI?
Mostly no. The refund policy issues no partial refunds for unused days, calls Moments purchases final, and says anything paid in cryptocurrency is "non-refundable under any circumstances". EU and UK users can withdraw within 14 days of a first purchase (not a renewal), pro-rated for any premium features used. Billing errors must be reported within 30 days, and a clearly broken image can be reported for a Moments refund.
How do I cancel Secrets AI?
Settings, then Manage Subscription, then Cancel; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. The wiki says the account then drops to Free with chats and characters kept. The terms say something different: that the account "will automatically close at the end of your current billing period". Crypto subscriptions cannot be resumed after cancelling.
