Secrets AI: what it costs, what's free, and what it allows

Secrets AI has a free plan with 20 messages a day, Premium at $19.99 a month or $109.99 a year, and Ultimate at $39.99 a month or $319.99 a year. Premium includes 8,000 Moments a month and Ultimate 15,000; Moments pay for images, video, voice calls and custom characters. Unused plan Moments are wiped at each renewal.

What we checked: 34 pages on wiki.secrets.ai, secrets.ai, the App Store and Trustpilot, with the prices re-read from a US connection on 2026-09-27. Everything was read logged out and nothing was bought. We kept 83 quotes word for word (the receipts at the bottom) and a dated screenshot.

What we found

• The discounts are measured against prices nobody pays. The crossed-out $39.99 next to Premium and $79.99 next to Ultimate are fixed reference numbers in the site's code, and the '77% OFF' and '67% OFF' yearly labels use them. Against the real monthly price, Premium yearly saves about 54% and Ultimate yearly about 33%.
• Ultimate gives you fewer Moments per dollar than Premium: 15,000 for $39.99 (375 a dollar) against 8,000 for $19.99 (400 a dollar). Pay for Ultimate for its other limits, such as twice the message length, not for the Moments.
• What a Premium month buys: 8,000 Moments is about 160 standard images, 13 adult 8-second videos or 160 minutes of voice calls, and any left over is gone at renewal. Moments you buy on top do not expire.
• The free plan really is ongoing: 20 messages a day, reset daily, but the limit is tied to your device, so a new account does not reset it. Free users get no Moments and cannot buy any, so images, video and calls all need a plan.
• Older plans are being raised. Monthly subscribers on the retired Lite ($5.99) and Plus ($9.99) plans are being moved to Premium at $19.99 on renewal, with at least 14 days' notice.
• The homepage promises 'end-to-end encryption' and '100% confidential' chats, but the privacy policy only claims AES-256 at rest plus TLS in transit, lists training their AI models as a use of your data, and logs filter-flagged prompts for human review.
• Two official sources disagree on cancelling: the terms say email support or the payment processor and that the account 'will automatically close' at period end; the wiki gives an in-app Cancel button and says the account drops to Free with everything kept.
• Free-tier audio calls are contradictory on one wiki page: the tier table ticks Audio Calls for FREE, but the same page says calls cost moments and FREE cannot get or buy moments. The one free route to moments is a one-time 100-moment Discord link bonus, enough for two minutes of calling or two images.
• Explicit content is allowed (an Adult video mode, and images 'very capable' of NSFW since July 2026), but moderation is strict: every prompt and output passes classifiers on all tiers, AI watches chats for signs of minors, and even failed attempts at banned content count as violations.
• An unrelated 'Secret AI: Local AI Chat' by Secret AI L.L.C. appears in US App Store results for 'secrets ai'; Secrets' own wiki says it has no store apps and any listing is not affiliated.

What Secrets AI is

What it is: an AI companion platform for chatting with companions who remember you, plus image and video generation. Web only, installable as a browser app (PWA). The official wiki says there is no App Store or Google Play app and any store listing is not theirs. Card charges show as S LABS INC. A different company's app, 'Secret AI: Local AI Chat' by Secret AI L.L.C., shows up in US App Store results for 'secrets ai'; no result is sold by Secret Labs.

Secrets AI is run by Secret Labs Inc., which its terms describe as a corporation registered in both Canada and the United States. Despite the Delaware address, the terms are governed by British Columbia law and arbitration is seated in Vancouver.

• Memory: Companions keep a memory system; Premium gets 4x memory access and +60% context, Ultimate 6x and +100% versus Free.
• Image generation: Images cost 50 moments each. A July 2026 model upgrade made Advanced mode 'very capable' of NSFW scenes. (paid)
• Video generation: Video needs Premium or Ultimate. There are Advanced (up to 4K), Standard (the legacy SFW model) and Adult (NSFW, 720p, 8 seconds, no audio) modes. (paid)

What Moments buy

From Secrets' own wiki. At Premium's $19.99 for 8,000 Moments, one Moment is 0.25 cents. Top-up packs are for subscribers only; the prices below come from the site's code, and the wiki's own example (4,000 for $11.99) matches none of them.

What Secrets AI allows

• The terms warn the site includes AI-generated nudity and sexual activity.
• Video has a dedicated Adult (NSFW) mode alongside an SFW Standard mode.
• Absolutely banned in any framing: sexual content with minors (including age-down attempts), non-consensual sex even framed as fiction, sexual content of real people, and trafficking.
• Zoophilia and necrophilia are banned; extreme violence, self-harm, hate speech, terrorism and illegal activity are banned 'in most contexts'.
• Every prompt is screened by automated filters before output, and every output (text, images, video) by classifiers before delivery. Filtering is the same on every tier.
• Trying to generate banned content is a violation even if the filter stops it.
• Users cannot upload files or images; all media is generated by the platform.

Age rules and verification

• 18+ (or the local age of majority if higher).
• Age check is a self-declared click-through gate on the site; no ID check at sign-up.
• Chats are monitored by AI for signs of an underage user; flagged accounts can be suspended until they verify age. The method of verification is not named.

Who can read your chats

Prompts flagged by the filters are logged for human review. Human moderators also review reports and run periodic audits. The policies do not say staff browse unflagged chats.

Training on your chats

The privacy policy lists training their AI models as a use of your data, and the terms let them use your inputs and outputs to develop the service.

Sharing with third parties

Data is shared with vendors (hosting, analytics, payments, support, fraud prevention). They also receive data about you from analytics and advertising partners.

Selling your data

They say they do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.

How long they keep it

Chat history and personal details are deleted immediately when you delete the account; transaction records are kept 7 years and security logs up to 12 months. Call audio is not stored; only the text transcript is kept so the companion remembers the call.

Deleting your data

Data access, correction or deletion requests go to [email protected], which may ask you to verify identity.

Encryption

The privacy policy claims AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. The homepage goes further and calls chats 'end-to-end encrypted', which the policy does not claim.

Renewal, refunds, cancelling and deleting your account

• Renewal: Plans renew automatically; 3-, 6- and 12-month plans are billed upfront and renew for the same term.
• Renewal: Secrets promises at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, applied from the next renewal.
• Refunds: No partial refunds for unused days, Moments purchases are final, and anything paid in crypto is never refunded.
• Refunds: EU and UK users can withdraw within 14 days of a first purchase (not a renewal), pro-rated if they used premium features.
• Refunds: Failed generations are refunded automatically, and clearly broken images can be reported for a Moments refund.
• Cancelling: Cancel yourself at Settings, Manage Subscription; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. The wiki says the account then drops to Free with chats kept, while the terms say it closes. Crypto subscriptions cannot be resumed after cancelling.
• Your account: Delete the account in User Settings under Account safety; it permanently removes the account and data and cannot be undone.
• Your account: Cancel at Settings > Manage Subscription (secrets.ai/subscription), click Cancel Subscription, give a reason, confirm. Access continues to the end of the paid period, then the account drops to Free with chats and content kept.
• Your account: The terms describe cancelling differently: contact the payment processor or email support, and they say the account closes at the end of the billing period (the wiki says it moves to Free).
• Your account: No refund for the current period on cancel.
