Membership costs $9.90 a month for Basic, $19.90 for Premium or $29.90 for Ultimate, or $99, $199 and $299 a year on the website (about 17% less than paying monthly). Apple's US listing shows these in-app purchases, word for word. Apple shows at most ten, and does not always say which plan a line belongs to, so we list them exactly as shown rather than guess.

What PolyBuzz allows

Age rules and verification

California: from January 1, 2027, Adam's Law makes every companion app find out each California user's age or treat all users as children. What the law requires, and where PolyBuzz stands.

Privacy: what happens to your chats

From PolyBuzz's privacy policy, terms and store listings as they read on 2026-09-27.

Who can read your chats
The FAQ claims neither character creators nor PolyBuzz can access your chats. The privacy policy lists text you type as personal data it collects, which sits awkwardly with the FAQ's 'no access' claim.
Training on your chats
The policy says photos you upload and your precise location may be used to train its AI. The terms say the model may change based on what users type.
Sharing with third parties
Collected information may be shared with third parties that power features, naming the Chat-GPT platform. Third-party ad networks may place trackers on your device to serve targeted ads.
Selling your data
PolyBuzz says it does not sell user information, but ad networks may track you and under California law identifiers are 'shared' with ad partners. You opt out of personalized ads by emailing it.
How long they keep it
Data is kept as long as needed; deleted data may stay in backups until they are updated, and anonymized data may be kept for any purpose.
Encryption
Google Play says data is encrypted in transit; the privacy policy claims only general 'industry-standard' safeguards, with no end-to-end encryption.
What the store privacy labels say
Apple App Privacy: identifiers may be used to track you across other companies' apps and sites. Google Play Data safety: location may be shared with third parties; personal and financial info among data collected; encrypted in transit; deletion can be requested.

Guides featuring PolyBuzz

Questions people ask

Is PolyBuzz free?

Yes. Chatting and creating characters are free, with ads. Membership removes ads and adds unlimited chats, voice and the longer-memory models.

How much is PolyBuzz a month?

$9.90 for Basic, $19.90 for Premium and $29.90 for Ultimate. Yearly plans on the website are $99, $199 and $299.

Can I get a PolyBuzz refund?

PolyBuzz's terms say payments are not refunded, even after you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan until the period ends.

Is PolyBuzz unlimited chats?

PolyBuzz's FAQ advertises 'free, unlimited, and private' chats, but its membership page lists 'Unlimited chats' as a paid perk, alongside ad-free use and skipping the queue. Newer and stronger models are paid per round with coins or unlocked by membership.

How to get coins on PolyBuzz?

The official route is buying coin packs on the coins page or in the app. Coins pay for premium model rounds, regenerated replies, inspiration replies, live photos and unlocking Moments.

Is PolyBuzz actually NSFW?

Not by its rules. The terms ban sending or sharing pornography or sexual acts and asking for sexual content; the FAQ says public NSFW is banned and screened by AI and human moderators. The FAQ still calls the chats 'Unrestricted', and none of its pages say how private chats are filtered.

Are PolyBuzz chats private?

Other users cannot see your chats unless you share them, and the FAQ claims PolyBuzz itself cannot access them. But the privacy policy lists text you type as data it collects, lets it share data with third-party AI providers including 'the Chat-GPT platform', and the terms say the model may change based on user inputs.

What is the age limit for PolyBuzz?

18. The terms ban anyone under 18 worldwide, and the App Store rates it 18+ (Google Play: Mature 17+). Outside the UK, age is only checked by the birth date you type in; the UK requires a third-party check. The FAQ still mentions a Teen Mode, which contradicts the terms.
