Kupid AI: what it costs, what's free, and what it allows
Kupid AI has no monthly plan: Pro costs $12.99 a week or $179 for a year paid upfront, and Ultra $24.99 a week or $299 a year, all on kupid.ai, with no App Store or Google Play listing that we could find. The cheapest way to pay is the Pro year, which works out at $14.92 a month against about $56.29 a month paid weekly. The free plan is listed as 15 messages, with no photos, videos or voice messages.
What we checked: 10 pages on kupid.ai, with the prices re-read from a US connection on 2026-10-03. Everything was read logged out and nothing was bought. We kept 58 quotes word for word (the receipts at the bottom).
Heads up
- Yearly plans are advertised per week ('$3.44/week', '$5.75/week') and charged as one payment of $179 or $299, and the payment form has a pre-ticked 'Coins renew' box that no page explains.
- Our July check recorded a $3.99 a month fee to keep your data after cancelling. On 2026-10-03 the terms no longer mention it; the wording survives in the text of the cancel screens, which are behind login, so whether it is still charged is unconfirmed.

What we found
- The per-week prices on the Yearly tab are a year paid at once: '$3.44/week' is one payment of $179 and '$5.75/week' one payment of $299, printed in small type under the Continue button. Paid weekly at $12.99 or $24.99, Pro passes the cost of its year in week 14 and Ultra in week 12. The 'Autumn Discount 75% OFF' countdown is not a deadline: the page sent the same 33 minutes 22 seconds on two visits eleven minutes apart.
- A second sales page, linked from the homepage, has deals the pricing page does not show: 3 months of Pro for $79, 3 months of Ultra for $149, and a year of Ultra for $235 instead of $299. Its payment step prints 'Total: $6.14/week' in large type and the real charge of $79.00 in small faint type. The page's code labels the $235 a trial price next to a price of $299, and the screen does not say what the plan renews at. Its 24-hour 'limited time offer' clock started from 24 hours again on a second visit five minutes later.
- Our July check recorded a $3.99 a month data-retention fee on top of every plan. Today's terms of service do not mention it, and no page or payment form we could open shows it. The wording is still in the site's code for the cancel screens: '$3.99/month to keep your data', with the options 'Skip one month and keep my data' and 'Cancel and delete my data'. Those screens are behind login, so we could not confirm whether the fee is still charged.
- Lifetime costs $777 once and comes with less each month than Ultra. It lists 200 photos and 66 videos a month, where Ultra's 75 photos and 25 videos a week come to about 325 and 108 a month. Voice is 35 minutes a month on Lifetime against 35 minutes a week on Ultra.

What you get free
- The plan table gives Free 15 messages and does not say whether that is per day or in total. Photos, videos, voice messages and voice chat are marked as not included.
- The homepage says signing up gets 'Unlimited Chat for Free', which does not match the 15 in the plan table. We did not sign up, so the real limit is untested.
- Kupid AI's FAQ says the free tier does not expire and needs no card.
- Free remembers the last 30 messages. Pro remembers the last 100, and Ultra's cell shows an infinity sign.
- The image page's FAQ says every user starts with a set number of image credits, without giving the number. The plan table shows no photos on Free.
What each plan includes
Kupid AI does not publish what a photo, a video or a minute of voice costs in coins, or say whether the weekly photo, video and voice figures are separate allowances or different ways to spend the same coins. Its FAQ says paid plans can create as many characters as you want, while the plan table says 4 and 8.

Renewal, refunds, cancelling and deleting your account
- Renewal: The payment form says that confirming lets Kupid AI charge your card for this payment and future payments. No page gives the renewal price or date for any plan.
- Renewal: The form has a box labelled 'Coins renew' that is already ticked when it loads. Neither the form nor the terms say what it charges. The Lifetime form has the same box and the same 'future payments' line, although Lifetime is sold as a one-time payment.
- Renewal: The terms let Kupid AI change its fees at any time without notice, and stop providing the service without notice.
- Renewal: The offer page promises no adult transaction on your bank statement. Its payment step says the charge appears as 'Kupid AI'.
- Refunds: The terms say all sales are final and no refunds are granted for any reason.
- Refunds: Plan coins that expire unused are removed without compensation.
- Refunds: Wording in the site's code for the downgrade screen says a downgrade takes away the current plan's advantages at once, with no refund. That screen is behind login.
- Refunds: Complaints go to [email protected]. The terms say they are reviewed and resolved within seven business days.
- Cancelling: The pricing page says 'You can cancel anytime'. The only way the terms name is an email to [email protected].
- Cancelling: The terms' refund policy also says Kupid AI does not offer cancellations for subscriptions that were accessed or used after purchase.
- Cancelling: The site's code has wording for a cancel button behind login: 'Subscription cancelled. Access continues until the period ends.' We could not see that screen.
