What we found

What CrushOn AI is

What it is: a platform where you chat with AI characters that you or other users create. The site says it runs on a mix of models in Free, Pro and Ultra tiers, and names Mistral 24B and its own 'Crushon Leo' for the fast tier, plus Claude Opus, GPT-5, GLM 5 and DeepSeek V4 for the Ultra tier. Platforms: web at crushon.ai. The site's own app links go to an iPhone app called 'Crushmash' (App Store id 6747497399), an Android app 'JollyChatter' (com.jollychatter.ai), and a direct APK download. The iPhone app 'Crushmash: Crush On AI Chat' is sold by an individual, Branden Allan Blankenship, not by TECHIEPIE; it was first released July 1, 2025.

The Crushmash app's own terms name yet another company, Crushmash AI CORP. (USA), under Delaware law. The Android app 'JollyChatter' shows 'Crushverse Team' as its name on Google Play, but the developer details list an individual in Tucson, Arizona with a Gmail support address. The terms name TECHIEPIE LTD, a company registered in Cyprus, as the provider of CrushOn. The site footer shows both the Cyprus address and a Dover, Delaware address, and the 2257 statement names a second company, Moonflow corp., at that Delaware address.

The privacy policy says CrushOn operates in the United States and that some vendors are in other countries.

Apple's US listing shows these in-app purchases, word for word. Apple shows at most ten, and does not always say which plan a line belongs to, so we list them exactly as shown rather than guess.

What CrushOn AI allows

Age rules and verification

California: from January 1, 2027, Adam's Law makes every companion app find out each California user's age or treat all users as children. What the law requires, and where CrushOn AI stands.

Privacy: what happens to your chats

From CrushOn AI's privacy policy, terms and store listings as they read on 2026-09-27.

Who can read your chats
The community guidelines say human moderators and automated systems review accounts, characters and interactions. The FAQ calls chats private unless you publish them, and says private character cards are not reviewed by moderation.
Training on your chats
Your chats may be used to train AI models. The policy says chat content is used 'in a general way' and not linked to specific users.
Sharing with third parties
Data goes to vendors including the operator of the underlying AI model, hosting providers and ad-platform SDKs.
Selling your data
The policy does not say CrushOn never sells data. It uses Google Analytics for remarketing, and in the mobile app third-party ad SDKs collect device IDs and ad interactions and may identify you across sites. It says it does not sell or 'share' financial data.
How long they keep it
No fixed retention period. Separately, the pricing page says Free-plan chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. The policy keeps data as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.
Deleting your data
The privacy policy says to close your account by emailing support, while the FAQ describes an in-app Delete Account button.
Encryption
The ai-sex-chat marketing page claims end-to-end encryption. The privacy policy makes no encryption claim at all and says it cannot guarantee data is safe in transit or storage.
What the store privacy labels say
App Store privacy label for Crushmash: 'Data Not Collected', despite chats, email and payments passing through it. The Crushmash app's own privacy policy (last modified October 2023) says data may be processed in the US or China. Google Play Data safety for JollyChatter: no data shared with third parties; collects device IDs, crash and diagnostics data, email address and photos; encrypted in transit; deletion can be requested.

Renewal, refunds, cancelling and deleting your account

Encryption: CrushOn AI's site says chats are end-to-end encrypted, and its own privacy policy does not back that up. Which companion apps claim end-to-end encryption, and what their policies say.

Change history

From our tracker's snapshots of CrushOn AI's own pages since 2026-07-02.

2026-09-22 Terms revised: creators can now sell 'Paid Content' (images, GIFs, videos) that users unlock with Diamonds, while the site's 2257 statement (Feb 8, 2025) still says 'The content created from this website contains only text generated based on AI and does not contain images or videos'. The same revision softened refunds and chargebacks: fees stay non-refundable 'except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law', and 'a genuine payment dispute alone does not justify an account-wide restriction', where the July 2025 terms let CrushOn refuse every card and online account tied to a chargeback. The terms are dated September 22, 2026; they were not live yet when we read the page late that day, and we first saw them on September 27. (crushon.ai/terms-of-service and crushon.ai/2257, read 2026-09-22 (old) and 2026-09-27 (new); Internet Archive 2025-08-02 and 2026-09-20) Full record →
